Peter is a seasoned technology executive with 20 years of experience delivering cutting-edge technology solutions in the healthcare and financial services industries. Prior to co-founding Curisium, Peter was the VP Engineering at Aetion, where he led the Product and Engineering functions to build a market-leading real-world evidence (RWE) analytics platform. Prior to Aetion, Peter was the CTO at Roc Capital, a quantitative equity trading firm with over $1B in assets under management. Peter holds BS and MS degrees in computer science from Stanford University, where he graduated with University Distinction and earned the Terman Award.
Chief Technology Officer & Co-Founder
Francis has over 10 years of experience developing state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies for big data analysis. Prior to co-founding Curisium, Francis was the VP Data Science at Aetion, a leading healthcare real-world evidence (RWE) analytics firm, where he pioneered the use of patient states to achieve orders of magnitude efficiency gains. Prior to Aetion, Francis was the Head of Quantitative Research at Roc Capital, a quantitative equity trading frim with over $1B in assets under management. Francis holds BS degrees in Physics and Mathematics from MIT.
Chief Product Officer
Jeff has 15 years of experience delivering healthcare solutions at scale. He has served as chief architect and product lead for applications across the healthcare spectrum: from RCM and billing, to quality and risk analytics, to point-of-care clinical decision support. Prior to joining Curisium, Jeff led the TeamPraxis team that delivered Medicare and Meaningful Use analytics for Allscripts' entire enterprise product line, including operating the country's largest quality metric reporting registry. Jeff holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University, where he was Salutatorian and Wendell Medal recipient.
Vice President, Strategy
Ray is a managed care executive with over 10 years of payer experience in value-based contracting and trade relations. Prior to joining Curisium, Ray drove the value-based contracting initiatives across the UnitedHealth Group enterprise, including the design, negotiation and implementation of numerous value-based contracting arrangements focusing on improving clinical outcomes while lowering costs of care. Prior to that, he was a Senior Director of Industry Relations at OptumRx where he was responsible for pharmaceutical rebate contracting strategy and negotiation across all lines of business. Ray holds BS degrees in Biochemistry and Bioengineering from UCSD, and an MS in Regulatory Sciences and PharmD from the USC School of Pharmacy.
Lead Software Engineer
Tyson has 10 years of experience designing and building software in the consumer and enterprise spaces. With a focus on product strategy and building core business value, Tyson has previously developed beautiful, intuitive user experiences at Aetion, FiftyThree, and The Criterion Collection. Tyson holds a BA degree in Film and Media Studies from Dartmouth College, where he graduated summa cum laude.
Director, Customer Success
Amanda Withers is an eight-year veteran of the managed care industry with deep experience in contracting and financial analytics for payers. Prior to joining Curisium, Amanda was on the trade relations team at OptumRx, helping negotiate, execute and administer market-leading pharmaceutical contracts. Prior to that, Amanda was responsible for a variety of modeling, forecasting, market share analysis, client optimization and other financial analytics across multiple divisions within UnitedHealth Group. Amanda holds an MBA and BA in Business Administration from Califorina State University, Fullerton, where she graduated Cum Laude.
Sachin Jain, MD, MBA is CEO at CareMore Health, an innovative healthcare delivery system with $1.2B revenue and over 100,000 patients across 8 states. He is also a consulting professor of medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. Prior to joining CareMore, Dr. Jain was Chief Medical Information & Innovation Officer at Merck. He also worked in the Obama Administration, where he was the senior advisor to the head of CMS. Dr. Jain graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a BA in government, and continued on to earn his MD from Harvard Medical School and MBA from Harvard Business School.
Greg is a Venture Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), with more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry and academia. Prior to NEA, Greg was EVP and CTO of Sun Microsystems, where he guided the company’s $2B R&D portfolio. Before Sun, Greg was an Associate Professor of EECS at MIT, where he worked on massively parallel dataflow computing architectures. He also helped found a number of companies, from video conferencing (PictureTel) to computational fluid dynamics (NASDAQ:EXA), and was an engineer with HP and Honeywell.
Milind is the Chief Data Officer at Sanofi, a leading global life sciences company focused on empowering lives through human health. He has over 15 years of experience spanning startup, consulting and Fortune 500 enterprise. Prior to joining Sanofi, Milind held various leadership positions within Novartis, including Global Head of Data Science, Digital Medicines. Milind is a featured speaker (TedX), Business Transformation Top 150 Leader and widely recognized as a thought leader in Digital Health, AI & Big Data.
